is a student assistant at the  “Bioeconomic Economics” group.

Throughout her Bachelor's program, she worked as a research assistant. After completing her Bachelor's degree, she spent two years in the Economic Analysis Department at Banco BASE, where her focus was on macroeconomic analyses. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Development Studies with a specialization in Sustainability. Karla is also a recipient of the DAAD-Helmut-Schmidt Program.

Now she is keen on deepening her research in the field of development economics with a focus on sustainability.
